Spring Walks

Regent’s Park offers 395 acres of open space, flower gardens, and tree-lined paths a short walk from STAY Camden. Spring sees the rose garden begin to bloom, while open lawns provide space for children to run.

The canal towpath offers a different perspective. Wildflowers appear along the water’s edge, and narrowboats add colour to the canal. The path runs directly alongside open water without barriers, so keep young children close. Our jogging routes work equally well as family walking routes.

London Waterbus: Spring on the Canal

See Camden from the water aboard London Waterbus along Regent’s Canal. Spring routes departing from Camden take you through Regent’s Park toward Little Venice, passing under bridges and alongside waterside cafés as the trees come into blossom.

Camden Market: Hawley Wharf Quarter

Camden Market comes alive in spring as warmer weather brings families outdoors. The Hawley Wharf quarter sits directly beside the canal, next door to your apartment at STAY Camden, offering covered food courts alongside open-air seating where you can watch canal boats pass.

At Camden Market over 30 global street food vendors serve everything from Yorkshire Burritos to vegan options at Magic Falafal, with halal, kosher, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available too. Spring weather makes canal-side seating particularly appealing – settle by the water, watch the boats, and enjoy the sound of the canal.

Family Entertainment

Curzon Cinema operates inside renovated railway arches at Hawley Wharf, screening independent films and family-friendly blockbusters steps from STAY Camden.

Lane 7 Bowling combines bowling with shuffleboard, ping pong, and arcade games. Family-friendly during the day, it offers entertainment when spring showers send you indoors.

Babylon Park brings subterranean entertainment to Camden with kids’ roller coasters, bumper cars, and a ferris wheel – all below ground level at Hawley Wharf.

Dog-Friendly Neighbourhood

Camden welcomes dogs throughout the neighbourhood. Our dog-friendly guide covers the best walking routes and pet-welcoming cafés, while STAY apartments include dog beds, bowls, and treats on arrival.
